1. And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer， and said， Come up to us， and we will shew you a thing.

23. And his armourbearer said unto him, Do all that is in thine heart: turn thee; behold, I am with thee according to thy heart.

24. Then said Saul unto the people that were with him, Number now, and see who is gone from us.And when they had numbered, behold, Jonathan and his armourbearer were not there.

撒上14:17扫罗就对跟随他的民说、你们查点查点、看从我们这里出去的是谁．他们一查点、就知道约拿单和拿兵器的人没有在这里。

25. And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him.

替他拿兵器的人看见扫罗死了，他也伏在自己的刀上，与扫罗一起死了。

26. And that first slaughter, which Jonathan and his armourbearer made, was about twenty men, within as it were an half acre of land, which a yoke of oxen might plow.

约拿单和拿兵器的人、起头所杀的、约有二十人、都在一亩的的半犁沟之内。

27. And Jonathan said unto his armourbearer, Come up after me: for the LORD hath delivered them into the hand of Israel.

约拿单就对拿兵器的人说，你跟随我上去，因为耶和华将他们交在以色列人手里了。

28. The victory was truly a miracle for after Jonathan and his armourbearer fearlessly attacked the leading garrison, God struck the enemy with fear and sent them into confusion (14:15, 20).

这场胜利真是一个奇迹，因为在约拿单和为他拿兵器的少年人勇敢的向非利士人的防营进攻后，上帝就使以色列的敌人战兢、惶乱（14：15、20）。

29. So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together. Jadi Saul, ketiga anaknya dan pembawa senjatanya, dan seluruh tentaranya sama-sama mati pada hari itu.

30. 6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.

31. And the men of the garrison answered Jonathan and his armourbearer, and said, Come up to us, and we will shew you a thing.
