1. These are the names of Esau's sons； Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau， Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.

2. These are the names of Esau's sons: Eliphaz, the son of Esau's wife Adah, and Reuel, the son of Esau's wife Basemath.

3. Esau's son Eliphaz also hadamed Timna, who boreeim Amalek. These were grandsons ofEsau's wife Adah.

4. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

5. And these are the sons of Reuel: Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the sons of Esau's wife Basemath.

17. Clan Magdiel, Clan Iram. These are the clans of Edom according to their habitations in the land of their possession. This is Esau the father of the Edomites.

18. Do not engage them, for I will not give you any of their land, not even as much as a footstep; for I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.

19. And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to b***ng it.

20. And Isaac sent Jacob away, and he went to Paddan-aram, to Laban the son of Bethuel the Aramaean, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob's and Esau's mother.

21. But how Esau will be ransacked, his hidden treasures pillaged!

22. So Esau (that is, Edom) settled in the hill country of Seir.

23. Make no attack on them, for I will not give you any of their land, not even space enough for a man's foot: because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for his heritage.

不可与他们争战、他们的地、连脚掌可踏之处、我都不给你们、因我已将西珥山赐给以扫为业。

24. The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was a quiet man, staying among the tents.

25. And the boys came to full growth; and Esau became a man of the open country, an expert bowman; but Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents.

28. Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir: Esau is Edom.

36. So we went on past our brothers, the children of Esau, living in Seir, by the road through the Arabah, from Elath and Ezion-geber.And turning, we went by the road through the waste land of Moab.

于是，我们离了我们弟兄以扫子孙所住的西珥，从亚拉巴的路，经过以拉他、以旬迦别，转向摩押旷野的路去。

37. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles;

38. And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.

39. Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,

40. 4 And Adah bare to Esau Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare Reuel;

41. And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.

亭纳是以扫儿子以利法的妾．他给以利法生了亚玛力．这是以扫的妻子亚大的子孙。

42. And Eliphaz, the son of Esau, had connection with a woman named Timna, who gave birth to Amalek: all these were the children of Esau's wife Adah.

亭纳是以扫儿子以利法的妾；他给以利法生了亚玛力。这是以扫的妻子亚大的子孙。

43. They had two children Esau and Jacob.

他们有两个儿子以扫和雅各.

44. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own.

45. These were grandsons of Esau's wife Adah.

46. He recognizes his condition is unworthy of the kindness and faithfulness of God, confesses his fear and asks God to deliver him from Esau.

47. The sons of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam and Korah.

56. When Esau heard his father's words, he burst out with a loud and bitter cry and said to his father, "Bless me-me too, my father!

以扫听了他父亲的话,就放声痛哭,说:“我父啊,求你也为我祝福!

57. And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand;then will I slay my brother Jacob.

以扫因他父亲给雅各祝的福、就怨恨雅各、心里说、为我父亲居丧的日子近了、到那时候、我要杀我的兄弟雅各。

58. Esau said to his father, "Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me too, my father!" Then Esau wept aloud.

以扫对他父亲说:“父啊,你只有一样可祝的福吗?我父啊,求你也为我祝福!”以扫就放声而哭。

59. And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou

60. Esay said to his father, "Do you have only one blessing, my father? Bless me too, my father!" Then Esau wept aloud.

61. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray

以扫对雅各说、我累昏了、求你

62. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

以扫对雅各说：“求你把这红豆汤给我喝吧，因为我疲乏得很。”因此，以扫的名字又叫以东。

以扫的儿子流珥的子孙中、有拿哈族长、谢拉族长、沙玛族长、米撒族长．这是在以东地从流珥所出的族长、都是以扫妻子巴实抹的子孙。

68. The sons of Esau's son Reuel: Chiefs Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the chiefs descended from Reuel in Edom; they were grandsons of Esau's wife Basemath.

以扫的儿子流珥的子孙中，有拿哈族长，谢拉族长，沙玛族长，米撒族长。这是在以东地从流珥所出的族长，都是以扫妻子巴实抹的子孙。

69. And these were the sons of Aholibamah, the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon, Esau's wife: and she bare to Esau Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛是祭便的孙女,亚拿的女儿。她给以扫生了耶乌施,雅兰,可拉。

70. The sons of Esau's son Reuel: Chiefs Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.

以扫的妻子阿何利巴玛的子孙中，有耶乌施族长、雅兰族长、可拉族长。

71. Voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.

以扫的手。

72. How are the things of Esau searched out! How are his hidden things sought up!

以扫的隐密处,何竟被搜寻。他隐藏的宝物何竟被查出。

73. And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.

以扫说,兄弟阿,我的已经够了,你的仍归你吧。

74. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

以扫说,我将要死,这长子的名分于我有什么益处呢。

75. But Esau said, "I already have plenty, my brother. Keep what you have for yourself.

以扫说:“兄弟啊,我的已经够了,你的仍归你吧!

76. Look, I am about to die,"Esau said."What good is the birthright to me?

以扫说:“我将要死,这长子的名分于我有什麽益处呢?

77. And Esau said, Then keep some of my men with you. And he said, What need is there for that, if my lord is pleased with me?

以扫说、容我把跟随我的人留几个在你这里，雅各说、何必呢、只要在我主眼前蒙恩就是了。

78. And Esau said, Truly, I am at the point of death: what profit is the birthright to me?

以扫说：“我快要死了，这长子名分对我有什么益处呢？”

79. Esau prepares to meet Jacob his twin bother.

以扫豫备迎接他双胞胎的弟弟雅各。

80. After Isaac finished blessing him and Jacob had scarcely left his father's presence, his brother Esau came in from hunting.
