5. KJV] No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man's life to pledge.

[新译]“不可拿人的磨，或是上磨石作抵押，因为这等于拿人的生命作抵押。

6. KJV] Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

[新译]“神有治理之权，威严可畏，他在高天之处施行和平。

7. KJV] Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

[新译]一连七天，祭司们都要洁净祭坛，祭坛就洁净了。这样，他们就把祭坛分别为圣了。

8. KJV] After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.

9. KJV] Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

10. KJV] Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

11. KJV] Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

[新译]不要杀害他们，免得我的人民忘记了；主啊！你是我们的盾牌，求你用你的能力，使他们飘流无定，并且降为卑微。

12. KJV] The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth.

[新译]东有亚兰人，西有非利士人；他们张开口来要吞灭以色列。

13. KJV] Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God?

[新译]为什么容外族人说：“他们的神在哪里呢?

14. KJV] I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

[新译]主我的神啊！我要满心称赞你，我要永远荣耀你的名。

15. KJV] But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

16. KJV] Of the sons of Uzziel; Amminadab the chief, and his brethren an hundred and twelve.

17. KJV] Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem.

21. KJV] How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

22. KJV] Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.

23. KJV] Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

24. KJV] He hath put my brethren far from me, and mine acquaintance are verily estranged from me.

[新译]他使我的族人远离我，使我熟悉的人完全与我疏远。

25. KJV] And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

[新译]他和工人讲定了一天的工钱是一个银币，然后派他们到葡萄园去。

26. KJV] He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.

[新译]他必吸吮眼镜蛇的毒液，腹蛇的舌头必把他杀死。

27. KJV] The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

[新译]他必引导谦卑的人行正义，把他的道路教导谦卑的人。

28. KJV] Howl, ye ships of Tarshish: for your strength is laid waste.

[新译]他施的船只啊，要哀号！因为你们的保障已被毁灭了。

29. KJV] Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.

[新译]他是法勒斯子孙中的首领，统管正月那一班所有的军长。

30. KJV] For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.

31. KJV] Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

[新译]他的救恩的确临近敬畏他的人，使他的荣耀住在我们的地上。

[新译]他看见彼得和约翰将要进殿，就向他们讨饭。

33. KJV] He hath builded against me, and compassed me with gall and travail.

[新译]他筑垒围困我，使毒害和艰难环绕我。

34. KJV] And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.

[新译]他葬在乌撒园里他自己的坟墓中；他的儿子约西亚接续他作王。

35. KJV] He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

[新译]他要使万民臣服在我们之下，使列国臣服在我们的脚下。

36. KJV] He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

[新译]他要执掌权柄，从这海到那海，从大河直到地极。

37. KJV] And Elam bare the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.

[新译]以拦拿着箭袋，并有战车、兵和骑兵；吉珥亮出盾牌。

38. KJV] Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.

[新译]以色列啊！你要仰望耶和华，从现在直到永远。

39. KJV] He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts.

[新译]任何赔偿，他都不接受，纵使你馈送许多礼物，他也不肯罢休。

40. KJV] But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

[新译]但你们这些巫妇的儿子，奸夫和妓女的后裔啊！你们都走近这里行奸淫吧！

41. KJV] But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

[新译]但审判要开始，他的权柄必被夺去，他必被毁坏灭绝，直到永远。

42. KJV] Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.

[新译]你们不要被各样怪异的教训勾引去了。

43. KJV] Why do ye persecute me as God, and are not satisfied with my flesh?

[新译]你们为什么有如神那样逼迫我?还不因吃我的肉感到满足吗?

44. KJV] Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

[新译]你们也应当忍耐，坚定自己的心；因为主再来的日子近了。

45. KJV] And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall.

[新译]你们又数点耶路撒冷的房屋，把房屋拆掉，用来坚固城墙。

46. KJV] Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us.

[新译]你们尽管计划阴谋吧，这些终必失败；你们尽管提议吧，这些终必不能成立，因为神与我们同在。

47. KJV] Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

[新译]你们自己判断一下，女人向神祷告的时候不蒙头，是合适的吗?

48. KJV] He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.

[新译]你们若暗中徇情面，他必然责备你们。

49. KJV] Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

[新译]你们要为贫寒的人和孤儿伸冤，为困苦和穷乏的人伸张正义。

50. KJV] Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

[新译]你们要哀号，像少女腰束麻布，为她幼年时许配的丈夫哀号一样。

51. KJV] But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

[新译]你们要知道耶和华已经把虔诚人分别出来，归他自己；我向耶和华呼求的时候，他就垂听。

52. KJV] Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

[新译]你们要赞美耶和华。歌颂我们的神，这是多么美善，赞美他，这是美好的，是合宜的。

53. KJV] Pass ye over to Tarshish; howl, ye inhabitants of the isle.

[新译]你们要过到他施去；沿海的居民哪，要哀号！

54. KJV] Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

[新译]你们这些在各水边撒种，又使牛驴随意走动的，是多么有福啊！

55. KJV] And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

[新译]你们都要割去身上的包皮，这就是我与你们立约的记号了。

56. KJV] Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

[新译]你使你的口乱说坏话，使你的舌头编造谎言。

57. KJV] Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.

[新译]你使我们进入网罗，把重担放在我们的背上。

58. KJV] But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

[新译]你却要凡事谨慎，忍受磨难、传福音者的工作，完成你的职务。

59. KJV] But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

[新译]你却高举了我的角，像野牛的角；你用新油膏抹我。

60. KJV] And thou shalt make a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering above of badgers' skins.

[新译]你又要用染红的公羊皮做帐棚的顶盖，在上面再盖上海狗皮。

61. KJV] For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

[新译]你必吃你亲手劳碌得来的，你必享福，事事顺利。

62. KJV] And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.

[新译]你必晓得你的帐棚平安无事；你查看庄舍，也一无缺失。

63. KJV] Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

[新译]你怎能用套绳把野牛系在犁沟呢?它怎肯跟着你耙山谷之地呢?

64. KJV] The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

[新译]你所吃的那一点食物，必要吐出来，你道谢的美言，也都白费了。

65. KJV] Thou sellest thy people for nought, and dost not increase thy wealth by their price.

[新译]你把你的子民廉价出售；他们的售价并没有使你得到利益。

66. KJV] For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.

[新译]你无缘无故强取兄弟的东西作当头，剥去衣不蔽体的人的衣服。

67. KJV] Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

[新译]你是知道的，因为那时你已经出生了，你一生的日数也很多。

68. KJV] Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?

[新译]你晓得天的定例吗?你能在地上建立天的权威吗?

69. KJV] Yea, my reins shall rejoice, when thy lips speak right things.

[新译]你的嘴唇说正直话的时候，我的内心就欢乐。

70. KJV] Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?

[新译]你要使被风吹动的树叶战抖吗?你要追赶枯干了的碎秸吗?

71. KJV] And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

[新译]公义必作他腰间的带子，信实必作他胁下的带子。

72. KJV] The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

[新译]关于大马士革的默示：“看哪！大马士革快要被废弃，不再是一个城市，它必变作废墟。

73. KJV] Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow.

[新译]其实明天怎样，你们并不知道。

74. KJV] The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

[新译]准绳量给我的是佳美之地，我的产业实在令我喜悦。

75. KJV] The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.

[新译]击鼓的喜乐止息，宴乐者的喧哗停止，弹琴的喜乐也止息了。

76. KJV] The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

[新译]列国的偶像是金的银的，是人手所做的。

77. KJV] And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far?

[新译]到降罚的日子，有灾祸从远方来到，那时你们要怎样行呢?

78. KJV] But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

[新译]只是没有看中该隐和他的礼物。该隐就非常忿怒，垂头丧气。

79. KJV] But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

[新译]可是没有人能够制伏舌头；它是喋喋不休的恶物，充满了致命的毒素。

80. KJV] And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.
