3. [Abstract] Purpose To study the characteristics on diffusion-weighted-imaging (DWI) with different diffusion gradient directions in lentiform nucleus and in corona radiata.

12. Results CT plain scan showed bilateral symmetrical hypodense of lentiform nucleus and the head of caudate nucleus in 8 cases, and in 1 case only the lentiform nucleus were involved.

结果CT表现:两侧豆状核,尾状核头部同时出现对称性低密度病灶8例;尾状核头部低密度病灶呈椭圆形,仅豆状核出现对称性低密度病灶1例。伴有额、颞叶内不规则低密度影1例。

13. Conclusion ADC and signal intensity in lentiform nucleus were not affected by diffusion gradient directions.
