15. So David mustered the entire army and went to Rabbah, and attacked and captured it.

33. And I will make Rabbah a place for housing camels, and the children of Ammon a resting-place for flocks: and you will be certain that I am the Lord.

36. Cry out, O daughters of Rabbah.

46. "I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the sons of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Thus you will know that I am the Lord."

47. Because of this, see, the days are coming when I will have a cry of war sounded against Rabbah, the town of the children of Ammon;

48. In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king's men and the whole Israelite army.They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah.

过了一年、到列王出战的时候、大卫又差派约押、率领臣仆和以色列众人出战．他们就打败亚扪人、围攻拉巴。
